Warsaw Spring Retreat

Theme: Foundations of Physics

Description of the place: A summer house (no luxury, just basics) with 3 bedrooms accommodating around 7 researchers. Located in a forest near the town Wilga (1h drive from Warsaw). Grocery stores, restaurants, and a hotel are within biking/walking distance. Nice surroundings for walks, a small lake available for swimming. A wifi connection can be arranged, so far a mobile hotspot is being used. Meals can be either prepared in the house (semi-equipped kitchen) or ordered at a nearby restaurant. The suggested solution is to do common grocery shopping for breakfasts, lunches, and snacks, and to eat out/order in the evenings.

Travel information: The host can pick you up from Warsaw (central train station/Chopin airport) and deliver you there on the date of departure.

Expected expenses (in EUR): ~10-20 per day for food (depending on the dietary choices), 10 per week for accommodation (to cover bills). Suppose your per diem allows that, then please consider donating to the house.

The suggested timespan of the stay is between 4 and 14 days. All the details can be arranged via email. This event is open to BRCP members and their friends interested in BRCP and sharing its core values.
